Learning Values Through Service: Tiny Tots of Vasant Valley Public School Visit Gaushala
On 21st May 2026, the students of Nursery to UKG from Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda (Sangrur), visited a Gaushala as part of an educational and value-based learning experience. The visit aimed to instill moral values, compassion, and sensitivity towards animals among the young learners.
During the visit, the children lovingly offered fruits, vegetables, rotis, and jaggery to the cows, which are considered beneficial for their health. The tiny tots enthusiastically participated in the seva activities and displayed kindness, empathy, and a spirit of care towards the animals.Such initiatives organized by the school
management from time to time play a significant role in nurturing moral values,
love for living beings, and an appreciation for Indian cultural traditions
among students. The visit also conveyed an important message that every
individual should be compassionate and respectful towards all forms of life.
The School Chairperson, Mrs. Ratan
Gupta, appreciated the efforts of the children and remarked that education is
not confined to textbooks alone; values, ethics, and good conduct are equally
important aspects of learning. She further stated that such experiences inspire
children to become responsible and compassionate human beings in practical
life.
The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha
Rajagopalan, also applauded the students and teachers for their participation
and emphasized that activities like these contribute greatly to personality
development while teaching children the values of service, cooperation, and
humanity from an early age.
