Vasant Valley Public School Immersed in Shades of Red: "Red Day" Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm
At
Vasant Valley Public School in Ladda, Sangrur, "Red Day" was
celebrated on 16th May with immense joy and enthusiasm for the young students.
On this occasion, the school campus became a focal point of attraction, adorned
with beautiful red decorations. All children—ranging from the Play Group to
UKG—along with their teachers, arrived at school, dressed in attractive
traditional red attire, creating an atmosphere completely immersed in the
captivating hues of red.
During
the program, students were introduced to red fruits, red vegetables, red
flowers, and the vital "red blood" that is so essential for our
bodies, through a series of engaging activities and games. The children
participated enthusiastically in activities involving the identification of red
objects, picture displays, poetry recitation, dialogue sessions, and creative
projects. The excitement and exuberance displayed by all the children were
truly a sight to behold.
Addressing
the children, the School President, Mrs. Ratan Gupta, stated, "Activities
of this nature play a pivotal role in fostering the students' mental
development, color recognition skills, and creative potential." She
commended the children for their enthusiastic participation and praised the
teachers for their dedicated efforts.
In
her message, the School Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan, remarked, "In
the realm of early education, such 'theme-based days' make the learning process
interesting, simple, and enjoyable for children." She further added that
education imparted through play enhances both the children's self-confidence
and their knowledge base.
Concluding
the event, the school fraternity extended their best wishes for the children's
bright future and congratulated everyone involved on the successful
organization of this event.
