Khushpreet Kaur Brings Laurels to Vasant Valley Public School with Chess Championship Victory

 

Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda (Sangrur), proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Khushpreet Kaur of Class VII , who secured the First Position in the Under-14 category at the Sangrur District School Chess Championship.

Displaying exceptional strategic thinking, concentration, patience, and determination, Khushpreet emerged victorious in the highly competitive championship. Her impressive performance reflects her dedication to the sport and her ability to remain focused and composed under pressure. This achievement has brought immense pride and honour to the school.

The School Chairman, Sh. Sanjay Gupta, congratulated Khushpreet on her outstanding accomplishment and appreciated her perseverance and commitment. He emphasized that participation in sports, including mind sports such as chess, plays an important role in developing critical thinking, decision-making, discipline, and self-confidence among students.
