Vasant Valley Public School Athlete Rahulinder Singh Strikes Double Gold at District Athletics Championship


 Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda (Sangrur), proudly celebrates the

remarkable sporting achievement of its talented Class X student, Rahulinder

Singh, who secured First Position in both the Shot Put and Discus Throw events

at the Open District Athletics Championship, organized by the District Athletics

Association, Sangrur.

Competing in the Under-18 Boys’ category, Rahulinder delivered an

outstanding performance in the Shot Put event, securing the top position with

an impressive throw of 11.40 metres. He further demonstrated his versatility

and athletic excellence by securing First Position in the Discus Throw event,

achieving a remarkable distance of 32.78 metres. Rahulinder’s exceptional

performance reflects his consistent practice, physical strength, technical

ability, discipline, and unwavering determination. His double victory has

brought immense pride and honour to the school and added another

significant achievement to its sporting record.

The School Chairman, Sh. Sanjay Gupta, congratulated Rahulinder on his

outstanding accomplishment and appreciated his dedication and

perseverance. He remarked that achievements in sports not only bring

recognition but also foster essential qualities such as discipline, resilience,

leadership, and self-confidence.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan, applauded Rahulinder for his

exceptional performance and extended her best wishes to him, his parents,

and his coaches. She reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing

sporting talent and providing students with opportunities to excel beyond

academics.
