Vasant Valley Public School Celebrates Guru Purnima with Reverence and Gratitude

Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda (Sangrur), celebrated the sacred festival of

Guru Purnima with reverence, respect, and enthusiasm. A special assembly

was organized on the occasion, during which students expressed their

gratitude and admiration for their teachers, acknowledging them as guiding

forces and role models in their lives.

Through inspiring thoughts, speeches, poetry recitations, and cultural

presentations, the students highlighted the significance of the teacher–disciple

tradition and the invaluable role of teachers in shaping young minds. The

celebration aimed to instil in students the values of respect, discipline,

gratitude, and appreciation for their teachers. Guru Purnima is an important

Indian festival that honours teachers and spiritual guides for their wisdom,

guidance, and contribution to society.

Addressing the gathering, the School Chairman, Sh. Sanjay Gupta, stated that a

teacher is a guiding light who illuminates the path of life through knowledge

and wisdom. He encouraged students to follow the ideals imparted by their

teachers and always remain committed to the values of truth, discipline,

sincerity, and hard work.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan, extended her heartfelt wishes

to all the students on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. She

emphasized that respect for teachers is one of the most cherished values of

Indian culture. She further stated that, with the guidance and support of their

teachers, students can achieve success and excellence in life and should always

uphold a deep sense of respect and gratitude towards their mentors.

The programme concluded with students expressing heartfelt appreciation

and gratitude to their teachers. The school campus resonated with an

atmosphere of reverence, respect, positivity, and gratitude, making the

celebration a meaningful and memorable experience for all.
