Vasant Valley Public School Organises Inter-House Comic Strip Creation Competition


Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda (Sangrur), organized an Inter-House Comic Strip Creation

Competition for the students of Classes V and VI, providing a creative platform to nurture

imagination, storytelling, and artistic expression among young learners.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, with one student representing each of the five

houses—Beas, Chenab, Jhelum, Ravi, and Sutlej. The participants showcased their creativity by

designing engaging comic strips that beautifully combined illustrations with meaningful narratives.

Their entries reflected originality, humour, imagination, and thought-provoking messages,

highlighting their artistic and literary skills.

The competition aimed to foster creative thinking, visual communication, and effective storytelling

while encouraging students to express their ideas in an innovative and engaging manner. The

participants demonstrated remarkable confidence, originality, and attention to detail, making the

event both inspiring and intellectually stimulating.

The School Chairperson, Mrs. Ratan Gupta, appreciated the students for their enthusiastic

participation and commended the teachers for organizing an activity that seamlessly blended

creativity with learning. She remarked that such competitions provide students with valuable

opportunities to think critically, communicate effectively, and showcase their unique talents.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan, congratulated all the participants and emphasized

that creative activities like comic strip creation play a significant role in developing imagination,

problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. She encouraged students to continue exploring

their creative potential and use art as a medium for expressing meaningful ideas.

The competition concluded on a high note, with participants earning appreciation for their
