Vasant Valley Public School Organizes Inspiring Seminar on ‘Happy Classroom’


Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda (Sangrur), organized an inspiring seminar on “Happy

Classroom” for its teaching faculty on 25th June 2026. The workshop was conducted with

the objective of equipping teachers with innovative strategies to create a positive, engaging,

and joyful classroom environment where every student can learn with enthusiasm,

confidence, and curiosity.

The session was led by Mrs. Babita Aggrawal, who served as the Resource Person. Drawing

upon her rich experience and expertise, she guided the teachers through a series of

interactive activities, group discussions, game-based learning techniques, creative exercises,

and practical classroom examples. The workshop emphasized the importance of

understanding students’ emotional needs and adopting learner-centric approaches to make

teaching more effective, meaningful, and enjoyable. The teachers participated

enthusiastically throughout the session and actively shared their experiences and best

practices.

The School Chairman, Sh. Sanjay Gupta, appreciated the initiative and reaffirmed the

school’s commitment to the continuous professional development of its teachers and the

delivery of quality education. He remarked that such capacity-building programmes

introduce educators to innovative pedagogical practices, which ultimately contribute to the

holistic development of students.

Addressing the gathering, the School Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan, emphasized that a

happy classroom is the foundation of effective teaching and meaningful learning. She stated

that when teachers educate with positivity, empathy, and innovation, education extends

beyond the mere acquisition of knowledge and becomes a powerful medium for nurturing

values, character, and lifelong learning.

The seminar proved to be highly enriching and inspiring for the participants. It concluded

with the teachers resolving to implement the newly learned activities and contemporary

teaching methodologies in their classrooms, with the shared vision of transforming every

classroom into a truly Happy Classroom.
