Vasant Valley Public School Pays a Heartfelt Tribute to the Indomitable Courage of Shaheed Udham Singh
Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda (Sangrur), organized a tribute ceremony on the
martyrdom anniversary of the great revolutionary and freedom fighter, Shaheed Udham
Singh. On this solemn occasion, students and teachers offered floral tributes to his portrait
and paid their heartfelt respects to his unparalleled courage, patriotism, and supreme
sacrifice for the nation.
During the programme, students shared their thoughts on the life and legacy of Shaheed
Udham Singh, his significant contribution to India’s freedom struggle, and his unwavering
dedication to the nation. The speakers highlighted that his life continues to inspire us to
stand against injustice, uphold the spirit of patriotism, and place the interests of the nation
above all else.
Addressing the gathering, the School Chairman, Sh. Sanjay Gupta, encouraged the students
to embrace the ideals of Shaheed Udham Singh and strive to become aware, responsible,
and patriotic citizens. He emphasized that the values of courage, determination, and
devotion to the nation should guide the younger generation in contributing positively to
society.
The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan, also paid tribute to the great martyr and
stated that the sacrifices of India’s brave heroes will always be remembered with profound
respect and gratitude. She encouraged the students to draw inspiration from their ideals
and contribute meaningfully to the progress and nation-building of the country.
The ceremony concluded with all those present paying their humble tributes to Shaheed
Udham Singh and pledging to follow the path of courage, patriotism, and selfless service
exemplified by him.
