Hindi Day Celebrated at Vasant Valley Public School with Pride and Fervour

 

Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda (Sangrur) celebrated Hindi Day with great enthusiasm and fervour. The Hindi Department organised a special morning assembly to commemorate the occasion and to foster among students a sense of love, respect and pride for the Hindi language, while acquainting them with its significance and rich heritage.

The special assembly featured thoughts for the day, poetry recitation and eloquent speeches highlighting the importance of Hindi. Students also shared insightful information about the history of the Hindi language, its distinctive features, its rich literary tradition and its relevance in everyday life. The captivating poems and powerful speeches evoked a deep sense of pride and appreciation for the language.

On the occasion, the School Chairman, Sh. Sanjay Gupta appreciated the Hindi Department for organising such an enriching and informative programme. He remarked that Hindi is a powerful language that beautifully expresses our culture, values and emotions, and encouraged students to use the language more extensively in their daily lives.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan also applauded the sincere efforts of the Hindi Department and the students. She emphasised that language is not merely a means of communication but also a reflection of our identity and a carrier of our cultural heritage. She encouraged students to respect Hindi and strive to use it correctly and effectively in their everyday communication.

The programme strengthened the students’ love, respect and pride for Hindi. The entire school resonated with the spirit of the language, making the Hindi Day celebration an inspiring, enriching and memorable occasion for all.
