Teachers’ Training Programme on Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence
Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda (Sangrur) organised an enriching
Teacher’s Training Programme on “Computational Thinking and Artificial
Intelligence”, aimed at strengthening educator’s understanding of emerging
technologies and equipping them with innovative approaches for the modern
classroom.
The training focused on developing computational thinking skills, logical
reasoning, problem-solving abilities and an understanding of Artificial
Intelligence. Teachers were introduced to the practical applications of AI in
education and explored ways to integrate technology meaningfully into
teaching-learning practices. The interactive sessions encouraged educators to
think creatively, analyse problems systematically and leverage digital tools to
enhance classroom engagement.
Through hands-on activities, discussions and practical demonstrations, the
teachers gained valuable insights into how computational thinking and AI can
foster innovation, critical thinking and personalised learning among students.
The programme also highlighted the importance of responsible and ethical use
of AI in education.
The School Chairman, Sh. Sanjay Gupta appreciated the initiative and
emphasised the significance of continuous professional development in
preparing educators for the rapidly evolving educational landscape. The School
Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan also lauded the efforts of the teachers and
encouraged them to embrace emerging technologies as powerful tools for
creating dynamic and future-ready learning environments.
The training concluded on an inspiring note, leaving the educators better
equipped to nurture tech-savvy, creative and critical-thinking learners and
prepare them for the opportunities and challenges of the AI-driven future.
