Vasant Valley Public School Celebrates Janmashtami with Devotion and Festive Fervour


 Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda (Sangrur), celebrated the auspicious festival

of Janmashtami, commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, with great

devotion, enthusiasm, and festive spirit. A special prayer assembly was

organized on the occasion, in which the young learners participated with

immense excitement.

The children from Play Group to UKG arrived at school dressed as adorable

Radha and Krishna, adding a vibrant and enchanting charm to the celebration.

Their beautiful costumes and delightful presentations captivated everyone.

Through a variety of Janmashtami-themed activities, the children were

introduced to the life and teachings of Lord Krishna, particularly the values of

love, compassion, righteousness, and devotion.

The School Chairperson, Mrs. Ratan Gupta, encouraged the young participants

and appreciated their sincere efforts and enthusiastic involvement. She

remarked that celebrations of traditional festivals at school help children

develop a deeper appreciation for Indian culture, heritage, traditions, and

values, while making learning a joyful and meaningful experience.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan, also applauded the enthusiasm

and active participation of the children and extended her warm wishes to

everyone on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. She emphasized that

such celebrations play an important role in connecting young learners with

India’s rich cultural heritage and strengthening their sense of belonging to its

traditions.

The entire school campus came alive with a devotional and festive

atmosphere, resonating with the joyous chants of “Jai Shri Krishna”, making

the celebration a delightful and memorable experience for everyone.
