Vasant Valley Public School’s Young Explorers Enjoy an Exciting Educational Excursion
Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda (Sangrur), organised an enjoyable and
memorable excursion for its young learners from Nursery to Class III. The
students visited Wavelland Water Park, Sunam, where they enthusiastically
participated in a variety of recreational activities and made the most of their
day.
During the excursion, the children enjoyed water-based activities and fun-filled
experiences while also learning valuable life skills such as sharing and
cooperating with friends, following discipline, taking responsibility for their
belongings, and working together as a group. The happiness and excitement on
their faces made the experience truly delightful.
The School Chairperson, Mrs. Ratan Gupta, reiterated the importance of
providing students with engaging and experiential learning opportunities as part
of their holistic development. She emphasized that such activities contribute
significantly to a child’s personality development while making the learning
process more enjoyable and meaningful.
The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan, appreciated the teachers and
support staff for ensuring the successful conduct of the excursion. She
highlighted that experiences beyond the classroom help children develop self-
confidence, social skills, cooperation, independence, and curiosity to explore
and learn new things.
For the young learners, the excursion was much more than a day of recreation;
it was a delightful experience of “learning through play and experience.” Filled
with laughter, excitement, and joyful moments, the day created cherished
memories that the children will treasure for a long time.
