Students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur acclaimed Dussehra in the School Campus with full zest and zeal

  To mark the victory of good over evil, Dussehra was celebrated at Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on 23 October, 2023 (Monday) with great enthusiasm. Highlighting the significance of celebrating festivals, a special assembly on Dussehra, the festival that resonates the victory of good over evil was presented by the students. The School students of Pre Primary Wing wore a festive look. Students showcased their performances with full fun and laughter. Students came dressed up as various characters from Ramayana. Students also mesmerized the audience with their bhajan performances. Everyone around enjoyed the serene atmosphere created by the chanting of bhajans. This year, the school took an eco-friendly initiative to celebrate the festival without burning an effigy. Private schools of Punjab have initiated a common Educational Road Map- Gian Khadag Convention – a movement for educational, sports and cultural reform

  A new Educational Road Map for the state of Punjab will be released at Sangrur Apna Punjab Foundation and Federation of Private Schools and Associations of Punjab (Reg.) have been putting great efforts to bring reforms in the health, education and environmental sectors of the state. The Chief Representative of District Sangrur-Mr. Kanwaljit Singh Dhindsa stated that a futuristic Educational Road Map that has been prepared by members of APF and FAP definitely going to prove to be a revolutionary step for the upliftment of education sector in the State of Punjab. Additionally, there are ultimate efforts and industrious work has been put up in the field of sports, culture, and language areas also through this Road Map. The FAP crew members   under the leadership of Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri is touring the entire state of Punjab carrying Gian Khadag Convention. Awareness Program on “Prevention of Drug Abuse” held in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur

  Keeping in view the rise in usage of drugs in children day by day, a one-day seminar on ‘Drug Abuse and Addiction’ was organized for the students of Grade VIII to X under District Legal Services Authority, Sangrur on 12 October, 2023(Thursday) in the School Auditorium. The programme was attended by the Secretary of District Legal Services Authority, Mr. PS Kalika and Additional Civil Judge, Senior Division - Dhuri, Mrs. Neha Goyal who were the Chief Guests during this seminar. The other dignitaries included Mr. Jagdeep Singh, Station House Officer, Dhuri and Mr. Vikas Verma and Mrs. Nuri Tulli, the President & Vice President of Anti Corruption Welfare Society and core members of Department witnessed and graced the seminar with their presence.  Keeping this in mind, Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur organized a Training workshop after the Mid Term for Pre Primary Teachers on Learning Outcomes and Pedagogy in the school campus. All the teachers of Pre Primary Block attended the session with full enthusiasm. 
 The workshop mainly aimed to enhance the pedagogical skills of teachers and educators in the region and focused on the topic of "Learning By Doing.” It was conducted by the Managing Director of S. Chand’s Milestone - Mrs. Babita Aggarwal .
