  In a delightful celebration of DIWALI, VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL hosted a lively event filled with activities that highlighted the joyous spirit of the festival. The day began with a special assembly along with an adorable ramp walk by pre-primary to Grade 1 students, who enthusiastically paraded in traditional Indian attire, adding charm and color to the festivities. Following this,   diya decoration competition was conducted for   Grades 2 to 4 students which bought   their artistic skills to life, crafting beautifully decorated diyas that reflected the spirit of light and hope.   The much-anticipated annual sports event, Prathiba 2024, of Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda, Sangrur,   took place this Saturday, igniting school spirit and camaraderie in a thrilling display of athleticism, unity, and competitive spirit. The day began with a grand formation and March Past led by the five houses of the school — Chenab, Beas, Ravi, Sutlej, and Jhelum. Dressed in their respective house colors and marching in perfect synchrony, the students showcased discipline and teamwork. The March Past was followed by the torch-bearing ceremony, a symbol of the school’s dedication to sportsmanship and excellence, marking the official commencement of Prathiba 2024. The sports events featured a variety of track and field competitions catering to all age groups, from Pre-Primary to Class 12.   On 17th October 2024, Vasant Valley Public School took its students on a one-day trip to PUNJOY Water Park , offering a day of excitement and relaxation. The trip, organized for students across various classes, aimed to provide them with a refreshing break from their academic routine. The students indulged in an array of exhilarating rides, including the Water Coaster, Spiral Slide, and Free Fall. The wave pool and lazy river proved to be crowd favorites, with students enjoying the cool waters on a sunny day. The trip provided an excellent opportunity for students to bond with their peers and teachers. Team-building games and activities were organized to foster camaraderie and teamwork. The annual festivities featured a captivating Ramleela play, where students brought to life the epic tale of Lord Rama's victory over Ravana. The celebrations also included a lively Dandiya dance performed by the girls, captivating the audience with their energy and enthusiasm.
