Investiture Ceremony 2024 at Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda: A Celebration of Leadership and Excellence

In a grand ceremony held at Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur, the investiture ceremony took place on 10 July, 2024 in the school auditorium , marking the beginning of a new era of student leadership. The event saw the swearing-in of the newly elected student council members, who were adorned with badges and sashes, symbolizing their new roles. The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by the Principal, Ms Anitha Rajagopalan who emphasized the importance of leadership and responsibility. The newly elected Head Boy, Jaspreet Singh, and Head Girl, Harnoor Kaur, led the oath-taking ceremony, promising to uphold the values of the school and work for the betterment of their peers. The student council members, comprising the literacy club, discipline society, cultural captain, and sports captain, were also sworn in along with their respective vice captains.   Vasant Valley Public School’s, Sangrur pre-primary students celebrated Environment Day, which is commemorated annually on June 5th. Tiny tots utilized their summer vacations by growing tiny gardens in pots. With eager hands and big smiles, they carefully placed seeds in soil and watered them throughout vacations. By planting and caring for their own plants, they learned about responsibility, growth, and the interconnectedness of our ecosystem. This activity taught them about the life cycle of plants and the value of nurturing our environment.
